Introduction

We value your privacy. This policy explains how we handle user data when you use MathFormula (FormulaConvert). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Data collection

• We collect email addresses via Supabase when you create an account or sign in, for authentication and secure account management.
• Images you upload for formula scanning may be processed through Google Gemini and OpenRouter APIs. We may also collect limited technical information (such as browser or device type) needed to run and protect the service.

Image processing

Uploaded images are processed in real-time using Google Gemini and OpenRouter APIs. We do not store your original images on our servers unless you save them to your Personal Library.

Data security

We use industry-standard security practices and encryption provided by our infrastructure partners, including Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (authentication and database), to protect data in transit and at rest.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell or trade your personal information to outside parties for marketing. Service providers (hosting, authentication, AI APIs) process data only as needed to operate the product, in line with this policy and their terms.
